What is an authorized agent and how does a USPPI appoint one?
An authorized agent prepares and files the EEI record on behalf of the USPPI. The USPPI appoints an authorized agent by giving a properly executed power of attorney or written authorization to an agent or forwarder that is certified for filing to AES.
